Jan is a successful professional with extensive experience within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors and professional legal experience within the areas of Crime, Employment, Finance and Health and Social Care law. Jan is known for working collaboratively with major stakeholders within both the legal profession and industry, building strong relationships (e.g. MOJ, MOD, NHS, FOS,NICE, and MHRA) in order to attain ethical and commercial harmonisation. She is known to be a visionary team leader and motivator capable of forming cohesive teams that help deliver company objectives and goals whilst maintaining the highest industry and company standards.
Jan is not shy of a challenge and having achieved her ambitions in the commercial world, she decided to follow her dream and study Law. She attended Kingston University and obtained her Law degree. She then attended bar school and trained as a barrister during which time she succeeded in winning all of her Pro Bono cases. The majority of her legal experience has been in a variety of equally challenging areas; namely, Family, Health and Social Care, Employment and Criminal (including excellent experience in Legal Aid, Prison Law, Courts Martial / Military Law).
Jan’s interest in mediation stems from her passion for business, health and well-being and her dedication to a culture of fairness. This, coupled with her experience of project management in the commercial and legal sectors, enables Jan to compose and deliver the most effective business/legal initiatives suitable for any organisation. As an Accredited Mediator she now specialises in several areas of dispute resolution within the public, private and third sectors. Jan continues to build a very successful and highly respected career, particularly within the North West, South East and London areas.
Jan is also a Sessional Lecturer at Liverpool John Moore’s University covering a variety of law related subjects.
